It boggles my mind that people continue to have the same arguments with the same people over and over instead of just learning to use the ignore feature and moving on.

As stated in the original post, device is already jailbroken (mainly for the book cover hack) the problem with downgrading is that wifi would stop working with anything other than 3.4.3.

Also at some point earlier K3 FW is mobi only, no AZW3. Without azw3 the K3 would be very poor.

I got my K3 S/H from someone getting a PW4 and it had only old mobi (the KF7 is a ghastly format) till I upgraded it. Given a choice between mobi and any missing feature, vs, azw3/KF8, I'd go for the azw3.

I only use WIFI on K3 if it goes flat so as to pickup date & time. But if a K3 is JBed, then you can set the date manually. Really stupid how many Kindle models can't.
