The problem with 3rd party sites is that people may not update them. The wifinigel site is OK now, but loads of hits on Search have obviously pre-2017 UK WiFi.
I should have looked at Ofcom rather than Wikipedia or accepting the earlier link; I've no excuse as I used to develop radio gear.

You'd also have to hope the on-board (well, in-kernel) database is up-to-date for that to work (spoiler alert: given the age of the Linux software stack on Kobo firmwares, I wouldn't hold my breath ).
