Another good reason to never buy another Kindle. There are already too many reasons to count and it seems Amazon can't be bothered to fix any of them - instead, they invent more of them. It's like they WANT to drive their customers away.

When I first encountered the problem, I updated the firmware and it still was not fixed. Given how the new firmware can eat the battery, I'm not going to update to it.
