Yes you are holding Ctrl and the Ctrl-Click on a class attribute will take you to that class in the stylesheet. Sigil has always supported that. Which is another reason why drag and drop is not officially supported.

That's not an oddity, that's a Sigil feature. Ctrl + Click with a class attribute selected in supposed to take you to the stylesheet (to the class if it exists). It's intended to be a shortcut. The first step in a drag is a click. That triggers the feature.
