and for stuff local to your computer - definitely modifiable:

There are no spaces in any filename, and "Quicklook" is the same as "QuickLook" in most installations.

Bingo - found it under: Locations/Macintosh HD/System/Library It is invisible when looking at the regular Library folders from the Sidebar. Thank you!

I updated to Ventura with my fingers crossed. But still no luck with this old one. There is a newer plugin https://github.com/GenjiApp/EPUB-Plugins I tried that and it only shows an image of the cover too
