Yeah, KOReader doesn't seem to work all that well on the Libra 2. I didn't even bother to install it on mine. The stock reader (with patches) is fine for me.

I have KOReader on my Libra 2. If I decide to use it, I'll update it as the one I have is old.

Just curious, why do you prefer Plato to the stock? I've used KOReader and am aware of its advantages and faults, but I know nothing about Plato.

Really? Many in that thread say it works fine with Libra 2. Are you perhaps thinking of NanoClock?

From https://github.com/shermp/NickelClock
"MiniClock/NanoClock have known stability issues with newer devices, especially the Kobo Libra2. NickelClock should not have such stability issues."

I've had (infrequent) freezes since day 1, before there were even any added books. None so far on 4.34, but haven't had that one long enough yet to really say either way.

Yes, you are correct. It's NanoClock that has warnings about the Libra 2. Sorry about that.

Eh, I didn't even know there were two of them...

From reading comments here and elsewhere I know two things about the Libra 2:
  1. It is one of the finest ereaders yet released
  2. It crashes and resets a lot

#2 seems like it would eliminate #1.
I've had the libra 2 for over a year, currently running version 4.30, and have no random resets problem whatsoever. I believe 4.31 induced such problems, but later versions seem fine.
Would agree with #1.

4.34 is more stable then 4.33. I've not had any issues with my Libra 2 running 4.34.

You really should update to 4.34 because you can adjust the weight of side loaded fonts without the need to patch.

Yes, 4.32 or 4.34, because the 4.33 is worse.
