Thank you, I couldn't find an older, but sealed PW5 yet.
Another option would be one with DSN G001PX11221709.. so year 2022, week 21, day 1. According to MintBanana it might have 5.14.2 but you say it's safer to assume that week 21 is too late for 5.14.2?

It will have 5.14.2. Every device up to week 27 has. Week 28 seems to be the breakpoint. Checked dozens of paperwhites.
Release date of the firmware doesn't matter.

10 weeks between the FW release and actual manufacturing with that FW! Not bad! Thank you guys for corrections
