Here's another attempt at downloading the same .epub, but without using the auth.

The result, unfortunately, doesn't change.

It throws a 403, which makes sense given that it's copyrighted work. I have no idea how this thing works, but I'm guessing it offers *everything* in their catalog, including stuff only actually available via lending or purchases or... something.

(Sidebar: I *am* seeing the failure popup, though).
