That may be true, although it's very subjective and debatable. What is not subjective or debatable however, is that the phrasing currently used in the English UI is NOT ungrammatical, as you insisted initially.

Technically not, but it is a label, not a sentence. If it were a sentence, your writing teacher would red-mark it. It's a 'bad' label IMO.

Patches aren't welcome. It'd just be a pain in the future if something changed on the platform side as opposed to it automatically working, while hiding the log lines would hide why it's not working. Changing anything would be a lose-lose situation.
