On a modern device, we may fit one less book (that I probably wont have time to read this year anyway).

We should worry more about things that don't work correctly like dead or wrong landing links.
It just means more work to clean up the mess that should never have been in the first place for those of us who do have a go at the code.

I've noticed that most IDs are of no use at all. And putting IDs in the ToC for not reason just slows down using the ToC. It's faster to just have the ToC just open the file instead of having to open the file ad then find the ID.
