Some ebay sellers offer ones advertised as blacklisted cheaper. They still sort of work sideloading without DRM, but no directly bought ebooks (DRM means won't work), no Collections etc. There may be some sort of non-stolen blacklisted ones?

It’s possible, although probably not in the amounts you see blacklisted kindles.

There was a rather unfortunate discussion here once, where someone asked about buying a blacklisted Kindle. There was full disclosure from the seller; he’d wanted to return it but Amazon said not to bother, but blacklisted it.
