Using multiple Overdrive libraries

Neither OP's nor MGlitch's instructions work for me. It's seemingly not possible to associate specific library cards with an Overdrive account. The feature on overdrive.com to save libraries does not seem to save my library cards. Libby also has no feature for this. Happy to be corrected on this.

Kind of weird to me that Kobo doesn't make this feature readily available. Then again, most people probably don't need this as they find their one local library's selection of books to be sufficient. Edit: Oh, and the obvious one: it would deter people from buying from Kobo store.

Kobo, or more specifically Rakuten who own them and previously Overdrive sold off Overdrive so it’s possible that they aren’t in a position to make it work any longer. As to why they didn’t before I’m not sure. I’d suspect that lack of need is certainly a driving factor. Most people only have the one library, maybe two, rarely more.

As to Libby and multiple cards if you use the Libby iOS app ( I’d assume the same for Android because Libby seems to have been designed by some one with common sense) tap the three bars in the bottom center of the screen. Here you’ll have notifications at the top of the screen, such as your book was returned, you have a hold available, and which library you’re currently defaulted to on the app. You should have the libraries you’ve added as well as the option to add more.

Obviously if you’ve not added any libraries yet you’d only have the option to add them.

I’ve just checked the Libby app to make sure of the above.

Scratch that. I don't know which bit did it, but I got it to work!
