I've just gone from a Kobo H2O2 to a Libra 2 (Xmas surprise!) and can confirm that the screen on mine is absolutely gorgeous.

(But definitely get your eyes checked too.)

I applaud the effort to take better photographs for screen comparisons done in the above review. There are more problems with subjective self-reported screen evaluations of the kind done in discussion here than is commonly understood. Anything that moves us in a more scientific direction is appreciated.

Still think there's a limit to what can be generalized based on this type of observation, unfortunately.

My Voyage got retired last weekend when I opened my Libra 2.

To be honest, in daylight I still think the Voyage screen has the edge but there's very, very little in it. Since I do most of my reading in the evening the Libra 2 with the warm lighting is an absolute game changer.

And much to my annoyance as a former Kobo-hater, it's an awesome device.
In fact I should really write in the Kobo sub-forum and beg forgiveness for my previous doubts.

Borrow your mate's Voyage for the weekend, you'll buy the Libra 2 on the Monday.
