Sites like that are a good starting point but you'll still have to suck it and see. Who curates the recommendations and do their tastes match yours?

Notices about what's coming out, interesting articles. The only problem is that there are few Tor authors that I actually like, so it doesn't exactly generate a lot of sales with me. Perhaps if they started making backlist books mentioned in various articles available. But I wish that more publishers would do that sort of thing. A couple of the authors whom I have discovered over the last half decade do send out updates to those who sign up for it. Some send them out on a regular basis, others not so much. |
