I have not read about anyone having an problem with sleep mode with a Forma. The last time I read about a problem with sleep mode it was due to a problem with the sleep cover.

Glad to hear that, so sleep mode it is again (I used to constantly let in sleep mode my other e-readers from the past, Kobo Mini, Kindle Paperwhite, Voyage, Oasis).

I already wrote to you above how to quickly check ... Put standard Kobo font, for example Georgia, and see if there will be the same error ...
If not, it's a matter of the font, you need to fix it using FontLab or FontForge. This is the most obvious thing that comes to mind when seeing your mistake, but here 2 pages are about nothing ... Last edited by Semwize; 04-26-2021 at 12:33 PM. |

Where did you get your copy of Bookerly? Bookerly is not without problems and may need to be fixed.
I agree with trying Georgia as it's one of the fonts that come with the Kobo. |

@Semwize It works properly with Georgia, so I'll try to fix my Bookerly files. Could you please tell what I have to do (if not obvious, when I'll be in the above-mentioned software) ? Thanks again. EDIT : I've just installed FontLab 7, let's find out how it works. Last edited by JLB14; 04-26-2021 at 01:38 PM. |

Open the fonts with a program of your choice (FontLab or FrontForge), and transfer the values from the Georgia font metric to Bookerly. And change all styles: regular, italic, bold and bold italic.
Alternatively, just search on github for the Bookerly font, there are quite a few of them. It is forbidden here to give direct links simply, to commercial fonts ... |

Bookerly, by the way, is a so-so font, it is not clear - where does it get so many fans from. However, this is a matter of habit and taste. Last edited by Semwize; 04-26-2021 at 02:56 PM. |

What I do know is that I have the 1.020 version. BTW, isn't it better than 1.00 version ? What I'm sure of, knowing me and my habits, is that I didn't take the first one found anywhere. Last edited by JLB14; 04-26-2021 at 03:21 PM. |

My guess is because Caecilia is a truly awful font and Bookerly is better even though not that much better.

I have some version eInk Bookerly installed on my Kobo. I've basically given up on it as I don't really care for slab serif fonts.
