The 32GB Forma offer has been re-priced at £249.99. Congratulations to everyone that snaffled a bargain before, what was presumably a mistake, was noticed.

Wonder how many we managed to shift off the shelves....

I wondered why the 32gb Forma had been reduced to £149.99 (a reduction of £139.00) and the 8gb Forma had only been reduced to £199.00 (a reduction of £40.00).

As an aside, I wonder how many 32gb versions they sold in that time frame as opposed to the 8gb versions, and whether this will make them rethink their price point and lower it. After all if you sell 100 32gb versions at £149 compared to 10 at £289 then you are actually making a bigger profit.

Mine arrived yesterday 32gb version, not yet had a chance to set it up.

Why? What has change that makes you say that? And to be honest, we have known about a new Kobo device, the N604, for nearly two months. The questions are about exactly what it is, and exactly when it will be released. Kobo usually announce/release at this time of the year or in the September/October time-frame. It is getting late for a release now, so maybe it will be the latter timeframe.

But, if you are basing this on the fact that Kobo had a sale on for a device, don't. Kobo does that all the time. And I don't think they have ever had a run-out sale in the lead up to a new device being released. People love to make the claim, but none seem to have been valid.

Anyway, the FCC website states that the N604 data embargo ends at 2021-08-08. This does not mean the N604 will be released by then, but it is probably.
