What do you mean by that? The Kobo has I see has a pop-up dictionary. It's not the same regarding the Inkpad?

I saw some videos about the inkpad and I see that it has really slow interface. Is that true?

I don't find the interface slow at all; in general, navigation around the reading settings, from book to home to library, etc, is fast enough for me. Maybe I'm just not very demanding but I'm pretty damned impatient with other tech like phones and tablets.

Well... I am impatient to death, and when I saw the review I freaked out.

The problem with that is that there is no option on Kobo's UK site to ship outside of the UK.

Getting another service involved to ship outside the UK would add to the cost.

Dramatically even to Ireland since January. But even before that shipping anything over 2kg was cheaper from Germany and no currency hedging markups.

Most people I know that often bought from UK now buy from Germany.

Γεια!

I am from Greece too and i have the exact same dilemma between Pocketbook Inkpad 3 or Kobo Libra H2O.

So how do you find Kobo?

I am mostly concerned about pdf books, wich i have a lot of them that i want to read. Have you tried?

Also, can you search a folder in Kobo?
For example the word "John" to find the files with this word in the title.

Kobo devices display PDF very well, but, it isn't fast. It is the navigation that is the issue. If you need to zoom in to see the text, then paging through the PDF is terrible. For a PDF whose page size is about the size as the screen, it works fairly well.

Kobo's do not display the folders. They extract the metadata from the books and displays that. The search works on that. It will search the title, author, series name and subtitle fields.

In my opinion that a Pocketbook will be more advantageous for reading PDFs. It supports more features for PDF, and has a larger screen.

- Inkpad 3 (740) :
Support PDF reflow.
Support multi-column PDF typesetting.
Support blank space trimming in PDF (especially for scanned PDFs).

If it was more about the epub format, I would choose KOBO, but PDF clearly PB.
