Firstly, the small joke was in the first line of my response. You know the bit were I commented about needing to be connected to the internet to download those files. Because, if you can't connect to the internet, which apparently you can't or you wouldn't have asked the question, you won't be able to download the files. I mean you did say "without being connected to the internet". It was a terrible joke, but, it was a joke. I nearly made the joke in my response to you, but, that clearly would have been a bad idea. And yes, my first responses to questions are not "lets hack the device". My first response to questions are to work with the device or supporting applications to do something. There are lots of questions that I will answer in one of those ways, but, they are commonly repeated questions and I know where to point to. And if you had asked the question differently, you might have gotten a different answer. A statement as to why you needed to do this might have prompted me to look for (in this case dig through my memory) for an alternative. And as I have stated, letting the device do this is extremely simple. So I do get curious about why people don't want to. Broken network, or conspiracy nut? Or something else? Anyway, you do have a solution, so I hope you will be happy wasting your time on it. |
