You need ADE to test your eBooks. Install 2.0.1. ADE is the most used software for reading ePub (ADE/RMSDK). I would suggest installing the latest ADE along side 2.0.1 just for testing purposes.

Both ADE 2.01 and 4.5 work in Wine after some minor tweaks. It's not even that hard to install them, even I managed to do it.

Also, the majority of windows-only games run fine on Linux using Proton, with only a minor performance penalty. In some cases the performance is even better than on Windows.
