Cellaris, you know me well!

Of course I don't meant to be hurtful, only my blood pressure go very high!

Related to Boox, yes, I know that those devices are "as is". No bugfixing, no improvements, a lot of lies from Chinese manufacturer... Then only sure thing is hardware European warranty if purchased here.

And related to my change, well, I prefer a bigger screen. I know firmware and software are the same in all Boox "generation".

I used to use Alreader as my main reader. Then I moved to Koreader on a Nook. But I've gone back to Alreader on an Onyx. The only fault I find with it is its annotation ability. But that's not that important to me for general reading.

Apparently there is a new version of Alreader out called AlreaderX. I haven't tried it.

FBReader has never worked well enough. It never will work well enough. It needs to respect the CSS.

Opinions are not hurtful. You can think whatever about any piece of software and that's fine. To each their own.

I love bug hunting and wanted to turn his lazy "bug" report into a proper one. Instead I received an unrelated rant about ocam's razor and how opensource fails. I feel a bit disappointed, that's it

As far as I am concerned I will wait for proper bug reports on github and never answer what was seem to be, based on users that I trust, just another PEBCAK

I "nagged" Onyx for a long time about a serious bug on the poke pro. They did eventually fix it.

I think the work you've done is impressive. I thought I'd never see KOReader work satisfactorily on my Android e-readers. This has been my greatest joy in the past year in the e-reader world. So forget the small disappointments because many of us are very grateful to you.

Just to throw in my two bits, Koreader works flawlessly on my Poke 2 and is my first and only go-to for daily reading.

And not only that Koreader runs on Poke2 perfectly fine, it has an excellent support by Pazos, Frenzie et al. given with a lot of enthusiasm and dedication in their free time ... which is much better in comparison with some other commercial products ...

Thanks guys again

I just got my Poke 2 last week and Koreader works well. I first downloaded it from their app store provided on the Poke 2, but it was an older version. It still worked fine so I updated to 2020.07.1 and it works great. Love it. Keep up the great work on it.
