Ah, yes, possibly a currency conversion fee.

My card gives a good conversion rate and does not charge a conversion fee, a fact that I've often used to my advantage. For example, a few years ago my wife went on a multi week hiking expedition and the site that we booked it through was an international site. They said that we could pay in any currency that we wanted, so we converted the charge for each currency to USD and found that paying in GBP was significantly cheaper than paying in USD, so we paid with that.

I've tried ordering from Walmart only twice and I'll never do it again. Lack of accurate information, lack of response from customer service and outright dishonesty about listings on their website, and claiming to have shipped an item that no longer existed was enough for me. And this is supposedly Amazon's competition? That's laughable.

I've only ever ordered two or three things from Walmart but didn't have any problems. Maybe I got lucky! I suppose right now they could be having extra logistical difficulties due to the coronavirus situation.

I hope your Kobo shows up soon, Twowheels!

I know what you are saying but the have a .com site and a .ca site, and I ordered from .com and paid in US money not Canadian money. So I thought they would ship from the US. I was wrong, as the shipping label states it came from Toronto!
