Excuse me, I said, this was the first request to have tapping turn screenfulls rather than pages. And I am really beginning to regret engaging in this thread.

I tried loads of PDF viewers on my Windows 10 Tablet. None were useable in with touch, either in "Tablet Mode" or in regular mode. The menus etc ghastly to use. None could use the volume buttons. Almost every Android ereader app and PDF viewer can swipe, tap or use the volume buttons. Does a programmer writing for Windows support the 99.5% using it with a keyboard or the 0.5% never using a keyboard? The Interface formerly called Metro is the "proper way" to do write touch applications for Windows 10. Designed for a platform now dead, the windows phone. I'm amazed that Kovid bothers to do any programming for touch at all. |

what a drama...
The tablet is great, it works very well, and it would be a great pleasure to read books with it if the controls would just be adjusted to what I have tried to outline above. Not more not less. And as I said already very early in #3, I accept the programmers decision. |

@_novalis - have you tried any other ebook viewers, there might be some that are better suited for Windows Touch.
Calibre's Open With feature provides the means to use other viewers. FX, I prefer the pre-Chrome version of Edge for EPUBs, and just for fun I sometimes use Quicklook. BR |

Yes I also used Edge until it was replaced.
I'll check out Qicklook, thanks. |
