ok - i poked around the box site some more, they are sayign replace box sync with box drive as latest box drive has all the relevant features
the initial mirror via FFS has completed
I will leave it a while then go back and check it again.
i have a feeling that 1st run to any new drive or cloud is slow as it has to create a "last time i looked" list for future use
I will probably hold off testing box with CC until the new beta is ready for testing

there are known issues with having both Box Sync and Box Drive installed on a single machine. And since Box Drive 2.4 has nearly all of Sync’s capabilities -- including the ability to work offline -- and since it includes an automated Sync Uninstaller, it’s worthwhile, simple, and fast to transition fully to Box Drive.

I prefer to keep control over the synchronization and therefore I have the BoxSync synchronization paused.
Only when I have made changes in the Calibre database do I mirror them with FreeFileSync and then allow BoxSync synchronization.

yes thats my issue as well, telling me that my busines onedrive account is not microsoft acc. the same with GDrive.

it seems authentication is broken for one drive business, but maybe not for personal. and same with G drive. OR MAYBE ITS AN ISSUE WITH EMAILS FROM MICROSOFT ( E.G. OUTLOOK MAIL)
whatever the explanation is, its a mess right now
i suggest wait for new beta
meanwhile:
dropbox continues to work only on previously authenticated devices
box appears to work with the free 10gb tier
An alternative app, calibrebox from play store, works OK with dropbox, and it may also support G drive - I have not tested that.
