Probably not problematic if you're familiar with libtool and CMake. For me is a pain

FWIW it errors with a pile of undefined references to libstdc++ symbols after the nice message:

*** I have the capability to make that library automatically link in when

We explicitly say "--disable-static --enable-shared" but then we add those static LDFLAGS. Maybe they're in conflict in some way?

My current mingw TC (built via https://github.com/shinchiro/mpv-winbuild-cmake) doesn't even ship a shared libgcc .

I have a /usr/lib/gcc/i686-w64-mingw32/8.3-win32/libgcc.a and /usr/lib/gcc/i686-w64-mingw32/8.3-win32/libstdc++.a

Anyhow, it's a non-issue either way.
