I just did a search for "four line gag" this is what was top of list

I use the Multi-Column Search plugin as an ad-hoc Comments Viewer for either selected books or all books in a library.

See the attached example.

i got some help from a fellow mint user. what worked was

i noted that the calibre shortcut in my Mint menu has this:

i'm not sure what "--detach" does. I just merged the 2 commands and now have

@droopy - it does what it says it does in the manual
