Okay, thanks. I kind of wondered if that was the case. Is the Touch C (mark 4) also the same?

I think the problem with your epubs isn't firmware specific.
It might be a firmware issue, after all. I have another Mini (the one my brother didn't want so he gave it back to me) that's still set at 3.19.x. The Overdrive book won't download to it with a sync either, and the Store bought book that I think originally caused the problem with the other Mini, also reboots this one (titled No Plot, No Problem). I'm going to go ahead and upgrade it and see if the issues are fixed. This book hasn't caused problems on any other Kobo model, just the Minis.

EDIT: Upgraded the second Mini. The book that was restarting the Mini when I tried to load it works fine now. The Overdrive borrowed book also came in automatically. So it looks like if you want a fully functional Mini now, you'll have to upgrade to something above 3.19.x.

Yes and no. The packages used are the same for all devices with each "mark". The update files downloaded by N905C Touch and the Glo are identical and contain all the files for all three Mark 4 devices.

And there is nothing special about each mark. Kobo keep the maximum size of the package to about 100MB. They start a new mark when this would be exceeded. They do group the devices released at the same time, but, not much else.

All the Mark 4 firmware links are the same. So yes, the Touch C is the same as the Glo and the generic links.
