I enjoy my Kindle (and my Sony 500 before that) very much. And no longer buy or want to read paper books (save reference books). However, I would not have one if I have to pay 16gs for it, or even 8. I'm glad it was only $300 and hope to see readers at the $150 mark by the end of next year.

Is there a way to read PDF format with the kindle or is there a way to convert PDF to the kindle format?

Well I guess the decision has been made for me with the kindle. It has a 11-12 week back order on amazon. Ebay members have about doubled the price. So I need to look at others.
