Need help with epub spacing/display

I'm guessing this is probably what happened. When I was seeing the weird pictures, I was changing pages quickly, so I easily could have double tapped by accident a few times. But when I was carefully looking for image issues after it "fixed itself", I was going slow, so I wouldn't have double-tapped by mistake.
