The leather strip is enforced and it sits snuggly in the pocket/slit. Unless there's something that can work it outwards, I can't imagine it slipping out accidently - and I can't imagine anything doing that just lying in a pocket or bag.

Okay, this is just silly. $29 for the cover and $27 for international shipping? It weights what, 200 grams? Rip-off.

You can order them from Amazon.

I ordered three of them - One black, one saddle, one mocha. The black and the saddle ones are a pebbled leather - not really my thing - but the mocha one is in a nice, rich, smooth, supple dark brown leather. The kind of leather you just want to snuggle into.... *sigh*

All three were very nicely constructed. My parents seem to like the pebbled leather ones, and I get to keep the mocha one.

I was glad they don't use the Sony case connector, as I found my original case very hard to hold, and the unit would slide to the left when you folded the cover over.
