That's actually as insulting as it is untrue. There are literally links everywhere to everything. I know because I need to update them when something changes. It's under the "Plugins" menu.

You would have had to use the Plugin Manager to install the Flightcrew (or any other) plugin.

I can't find a Plugins menu. Where on the screen does it appear?

I don't believe I installed Flightcrew. Someone else may have done it on my machine.

Plugins is a top level menu. If you do not see a Plugins menu in Sigil, perhaps you are running a super old version of Sigil before fc became a plugin or even plugin support was added?

Go to Sigil's About menu and report what version of Sigil you are using.

No. In the old versions of Sigil. Flightcrew was a built-in part of Sigil. It came with Sigil. You can't remove it. The only way for you to "disable" Flightcrew in that old of a version of SIgil would be to choose not to validate your epubs using Sigil.

You should think about updating to a newer version of Sigil where epub validation was removed from Sigil. With plugins, you can choose between Flightcrew, or EpubCheck (or you can choose to use both).

I've been using epubcheck too. Guess it's time to update Sigil.

I thought I saw somewhere that 1.2.0 was buggy. I see there's now a 1.2.1.

Please note. There have been many many big changes to Sigil. If you like to edit in BookView mode a lot, then upgrading to Sigil 0.9.14 may be the easiest transition.. If instead you like to edit in CodeView and watch Preview update automatically so you can see the page then, the latest Sigil might be the best. After Sigil 0.9.14, BookView mode was removed. We did add a standalone companion app called PageEdit that will allow you to do proofing in a WYSIWYG environment similar to BookView mode but more limited.

If you are using Windows or Mac, Sigil 1.2.0 is the latest. If you build your own on Linux, the use current master or version 1.2.1.
