Wish I had more stuff on my wishlist, then again perhaps not!

I got the email, and had about forty items in my wishlist, many with an extra fifteen per cent off. I bought only two, really, since my tastes appear to run to the expensive side of things. Or perhaps the Gods have deemed that the books I want should have extortionate prices, like twenty-five dollars for a five-year-old book that's been out in mass market paperback for four.

Even with discounts, these books are stupidly expensive, and we're not talking 'niche' markets here. We're talking popular authors. If anyone can tell me they actually get anywhere by emailing the respective publishers (since I do understand this is outside of Fictionwise's control), I'll give it a shot myself.

Well, Some people have reported having some success, with prices going down within a short while of emailing the Publisher and the seller.

While I understand that some pricing decisions can be outside the control of resellers lie Fictionwise and Books on Board, it may be worth it to email them to bring that book to their attention, while mentioning that you will be writing to the publisher as well. That way they can also send feedback to the publisher through their own channels.

If you are successful in getting a response, positive or negative please add to the Publisher Contact Info Thread so that others can keep track of which contact address works, and can send contact them as well if they want to.

Right. I used Micropay for a couple of books w/ the discount -- no problem.

I got the email and I have 15% most of my wishlist, but when I place them in my basket they stay at the site discount and I don't see the extra coming off. I even went to the confirmation page and still no extra discount ! it says its automatic.

How has it worked for everyone else. Do you see the extra coming off when you place in basket or only once you have bought?

On both the Wishlist and when moved to the cart I see Reg. Price with a line through it, and Sale Price in red which is the regular price minus the discount. I had several with 30%, most with 25% and a few with 15%. I checked how much was taken off on the Sale Price and it did match the different percentages. I'm not in the Buywise Club, so I don't know how it would look with that additional discount.

mine definitely isn't showing that at all. Not sure why as they gave all the discount % in my email, listing all my wishlist books. Ah well, just won't buy any. I did email them two days ago but they haven't replied.

and like you I sent them an email but no reply... where is their "vaunted" support when you need it?

not sure. I emailed twice about it but they haven't replied to either. Not a great impression of their Customer Services.....it doesn't appear to exist
