Accessories New Leather Kindle Covers from Oberon - Page 2

Oh, these are lovely!! Although, I would love it if they made a zipper cover that was tooled. That would be my ultimate have to purchase case.

I saw their pics of the new corners, and I must admit I'm jealous! However, since they wrote back to my email and said they are only doing a limited set of designs this year, I won't regret my decision to buy a 6x9 journal and convert the cover. I cut the front cover off my original Kindle case (since there was no way I was going to use it again) and nestled the back cover into the slot for the journal to fit. I added velcro to the right edge only -- and it also serves to keep the orig-case-back-cover securely in place, since it can't move against the velcro. The Oberon designed-to-fit-a-Kindle is only 8 inches tall, so mine has an extra 1/2 inch on top and bottom (see 2nd shot). But since it is such lovely leather, I don't mind it!

Very creative on your part.

I like the extra 1/2 inch on the top and bottom for more protection.

I got the Avenue of Trees cover and I think it is beautiful. I agree these are works of art. They are handmade and amazing quality. IMO, well worth the price and something I will use for the life of my Kindle.

Here are pics of mine... along with a great little case I got on Esty from this seller. My Kindle in the cover, fits perfectly and I can fit it all into my purse.

They also made them so they will stand up on their own, great when you want to read hands free.

These covers are absolutely gorgeous. I just preordered one, can't wait to get it. Too bad they're saying that they'll start shipping in the second half of March and that's still another month away.

Corners!!!! CORNERS!!! corners corners corners!

The cover that I cannot remember the name of relied on velcro. It was HORRID! The Oberon covers look like they copy the M-edge almost exactly and they have been PERFECT!!!! (My kindle skis!)

I got the velcro & I love it. I love the way it looks like the Kindle is "floating" in the cover - very clean look. And it's very secure. Now if you prefer reading on a "naked" Kindle, the corners are probably a better choice, but I always read with the cover on.
