Only with kepubs via the Kobo Extended Driver, which won't be kept in the library at all.

Otherwise it's easy to delete all books in a specific format with a couple of clicks.

That can be dangerous if you have different 'master' (as purchased) formats.

Tale a look at the Action Chains plugin in case you can do this with the plugin. But you will have to be able to write the code or ask for help.

Yes, of course you must select the correct books in that case, not the whole library

You could use a template search to find additional formats created in the last N days. It could be further specialized by specific format, and by the existence of a particular older format.

Of course the difficulty is knowing what to look for.

You could also copy all the books you want to convert and send to your device to a separate library, convert them there and after sending to the device delete the whole bunch. The originals stay in your main library.
