Clara HD Waterproof eReaders

I've got two waterproof Kobos, but it's not a important feature for me (and the seal on my H2O doesn't fit firmly anymore anyway).

In actuality, my waterside device is my old Mini for the following reasons:

• portability
• it gives it a use
• it can live in my beach/pool/lake bag (not otherwise in use + great battery life)
• it wouldn't break my heart if something happened to it

It's loaded with short story collections and lighter fiction which make for better waterside reading so syncing's not a issue.

I take my Clara HD with me when I walk my dog, and when it was raining the other day that was the only time I wish I had a waterproof ereader. But then I realized that I could still use the capacitive touchscreen through a ziplock bag so that solved the waterproofing issue for me.

It sure looks ugly but it would protect it against anything I'd be willing to throw at it since I don't plan on submerging it, but even then the ziplock would probably keep it dry. Granted it'd still be nice to have waterproofing to guard against unexpected events like spills or drops into water.

lol what makes you think I’m ignoring him, I’m actively taking a walk with him which he enjoys more than sitting around the house. It’s irrelevant if I happen to be looking at a book as I walk since he’s not looking at me anyway... why am I even responding to this, this is wildly off topic

I don't think (could be wrong) that the waterproof Kobo's have a SD card for this reason. That sounds a lot better than the Oasis (I think the original one). Apparently it's almost impossible to open one of those.

Besides the SD Card I'm also thinking about replacing the battery eventually.
