Hi Smoutie, Whilst i am uncertain as to whether you could transfer the books you have already bought, i do know that i could not have both the UK and US versions of the software loaded on the same laptop. I had loaded the UK version that came with my PRS-505, which, of course directed me to Waterstones, but when i tried to download from Sony's US site online it said that i already had a later version installed. However, as i detailed in a previous post, i was able to load the US version on a seperate laptop and make purchases using the Gift Card i bought on ebay. I hope this clarifies at least part of your enquiry.

Kind regards, Tracey.

Here is what I have setup:

Remove everything installed.

Install US Software.
Install Adobe DE
download books from waterstones into Adobe DE

Import downloaded books from usually (in vista) c:\Users\USER\Documents\My Digital Editions\

Works well for me. US Store is much better than UK.

Note that you don't need the UK version of the Sony eBook software installed in order to buy books from Waterstones - you can simply use their website directly.
