Oh well.
Do you remember how many points it takes? I burned up over 600 points trying to win the MacBook Air drawing that ended in September, so my balance is near zero. I thing I have a couple of hundred points worth of codes in a drawer that have accumulated since October 1.

Would this look good on a SkinIt?

Just got back from the optometrist. Seems to me to be pretty poetic to use the scan of my retina as a skin. Do you think this would transfer well?

Thanks! After the complaints about the red numbers, I tried to make the more red sections of the image line up in that area. that should minimize contrast.

IT is 1050 IIRC. Sadly, no where close to what either of us have.

IF I hadn't gotten the ipod skin, I would have it by now. Of course, I have an awesome looking ipod. LOL

Another thought...

Does anybody know where to find a good high-resolution image of Rodin's The Gates of Hell, based, of course, on Dante's "The Inferno?" I just realized that this would be a very cool skin. Since you'd lose The Thinker in the screen cut-out, you could put him and/or The Kiss on the back...

Well, I got it and the image is nice, but there was one thing I hadn't taken into consideration. On the left side (as you look at the screen), the front and back skins meet up right along the spine of the Reader. This is fine, because you really never look at the Reader edge-on. However, on the right side, the front wraps about a centimeter around the back, and the back skin is narrower. I've got a pretty jarring disconnect in the images there.

If skinit had told me this was the configuration, I would have made the front and back skins mirror images of each other, so that they would graphically line up where they meet.
