I can purchase books in ePub from BooksOnBoard. And besides, it makes the reader more useful and more worth purchasing.

I totally agree with you on what these eggheads at Sony thought about calibre. But I was stating that, in fact, they should thank Kovid for his effort. At least I knew that I wouldn't have bought my PRS500 & PRS505 had there been no calibre around. And these are the only Sony products I have. I think their business model is so out of touch and no wonder they kept winding down in the past ten years. I hope they learned the lesson about mp3 vs atrac and fully committed to ePub.
