calibre install fails on Ubuntu hardy - Page 2

It does not have that file. It has metadata.db and metadata.db-journal.

However Calibre works if I choose another (a new) directory.

I can live with that, and it's great that it works now, but I would of course like to be able to share directories between windows and Ubuntu. I can understand if that is not necessarily a trivial thing to do, however.

as far as i know you should be able to share directories. That error above comes from trying to migrate an old version of the database (stored in library1.db) to the new.
