Is this windows compatible compiled code or code I'd have to compile myself? I'm not setup to compile code so if it needs to be compiled, I'd need someone to do it.

Nope, we don't do Windows. You'll have to find someone to do it for you.

Shrug.

Our existing Linux, Mac OS X and Windows users seem pretty happy so far. Hardly anyone on Windows has ever come to us with a need to "explode" the content they've created back into basic HTML files.

If that is your need, just reparse it from the original source content, or find someone to execute the port for you, or run it on Linux, or choose another application that better supports your platform.

There's plenty of choices.

Why not just do a compile and be done with it? Pucker does not work on a Sony Reader so I would need to convert the format to HTML and then convert to LRF so I can read the book(s) on my Reader.

My point EXACTLY! In the time its taken you to reply to all of these messages, you could have already checked out the code, built it, and be on your way.

I don't have any software to compile. That is the problem here. I can't compile it even if I downloaded the code.

Likewise; I don't have Windows, or a Windows development environment (Visual Studio.NET and such, or even Cygwin inside Windows). I'm not about to go spending the money to buy that OS + tools, to compile software for a legacy platform like Windows.

But you can easily install Linux on a virtual machine image using VMware or something, or borrow a friend's Linux machine, and build it there.

Windows is NOT a legacy platform. Why would I want to install all that stuff just to compile one program? Seems rather silly. Can't you find one of the other developers to compile it?
