English is a perfectly precise language.

'When I use a word,' Humpty Dumpty said, in a rather scornful tone,' it means just what I choose it to mean, neither more nor less.'

On my 505, it's the device itself that has the magnets, not the cover - that just has strips of metal in the four corners...

How does it work as a stand up holder for reading at the table?

Just tried it standing on the table and it does indeed stand. The reader itself potentialy swings back and forth a bit, and I dont know how conveniant it would be to press the next page button, but it does stand up.

I don't see why this isn't being offered here in the US. I would love to have this.

Ordered from Sony UK on Monday - arrived by courier Tuesday with NO shipping charges!

This is a nice feeling and looking cover, so much nicer than the nasty (in my opinion) MEDGE I bought - doesn't add significant bulk to the unit but does give some added screen protection over the standard cover.

Thanks for the great pics - I've just ordered one after seeing them. (Annoyingly it says In Stock all the way through the order process, yet on the confirmation screen, its out of stock. Still shows as in stock if you go back to the store.

Hope it arrives before Christmas!

woohoo! It's arrived (despite sony-style web site denying my order exists). Looks really good and will make reading easier on the train. Thanks again OP for the pics!

Well, a "bi-fold" door has only one hinged section that helps fold 2 door sections.

Nice cover, btw.

After reading this exchange and knowing that I would be in London just before Christmas, I decided to pop into the Sony Store and get one. Wonderful. Love it. Much more protection and despite the strange orange on the inside of the cover, must agree that this is a lovely cover. Thanks for those great pics btw.
Cheers

I tried when this first came up. I went to uk.amazon.com, stuck it in my cart and got to the checkout. All of a sudden all I heard was "PULL!"

You can order the trifold from this place and have it shipped to the US.

http://www.advancedmp3players.co.uk/...over.3348.html

they seem to be out of stock all the time.

Also here : http://www.whsmith.co.uk/CatalogAndS...-33661247.html

they are in stock. I'm thinking about getting one as well.
