It's certainly possible to have a panel to display the bookmarks like the current TOC panel, however I dont think it will work well for correcting errors, as bookmarks are not exact (they have the granularity of between paragraph to a screenfull of text). What is needed for that is proper annotations with highlighting.

@Kovid - which begs the question - any thoughts of making highlighted annotations visible and goto-able in the Preview window of the Editor.
