John, I got it to work for me by putting a soft cloth over my screen and sliding the magnet until it triggered. And now I have a cover that I'm really happy with. Good luck.

Hi Abby, glad it worked for you, but it still doesn't work for me. Which part of the screen triggered it for you?

When I did this it was with the cover for my KA1. I just spent several minutes trying it on my 1st gen Oasis, and I'll be darned if I can get it to work either. How strange. I do notice that it's magnetic on the upper and lower outer corners. So I tried two magnets. No joy. Darn it. It should work!

Thanks for mentioning this, I think.

I still have a blue Dragonfly Pond cover I bought for my K3 eons ago but I hadn't looked at the Oberon website in years. I had no idea they made covers for Nooks.

I see that they haven't used the intervening years to improve the inside of the covers any, and the cover costs almost as much as my Glowlight 3. Neverthleless I went ahead and ordered one -- another Dragonfly Pond, this time in fern.

Lengthy rationalization --

At least it's less expensive than the cover in the OP.

I also have a Kobo H2O2 that's almost identical in size to the Glowlight 3, so the elastic corners should allow the cover to be used for either one.

I usually read both of the ereaders without covers so I'll really be using the cover more like a sleeve and won't have to be overly bothered by the weight and the unfinished look of the inside cover.

My birthday is in a few days.
