Here's the best relevant scene:

The thing the kid says, really fast, at the beginning is basically that he wants a BB gun (he calls it by its full name).

I came across this sign the other day. I am not Episcopalian, so I can not tell you the answer to the question.

Note: The previous week the sign said:

Sunday Sermon
Which Liseuse
Is Best For
PDF Documents

But no one knew what a "Liseuse" was so no one showed up.

mystery solved, thanks to the incomparable madam b !! (although to be honest i'm not sure i understand those words even now). i think i will just stick to the daisy model. much easier to say. plus they have such a delightful slogan.

If I recall correctly, the Red Ryder model was one of Daisy's ... still is if I'm not mistaken. But it's a spring-air mechanism, which means it's just about powerful enough raise a welt at 20 meters.

Now the PowerLine models, that's the upper end of Daisy's line.

They will shoot your eye out, no problem.
