Don't take baths as often as I used to when I was young. I used to love to soak and listen to music.

I have tried reading in the bath, both with paper books and ereaders. The thing I can never get past is that as soon as I lift my arms out of the water to hold my book/reader I almost immediately want to put them back in again. It's like being told not to scratch your nose or blink or something. The restriction somehow creates the desire to do it.

At least for me. I was told on another forum I was weird and a philistine for not liking reading in the bath.

In theory I'd be OK with audiobooks, in practice I need to be able to rewind etc.

I suppose an Alexa device would work if I had one near enough to the bathroom.

Not a girl thing either. I'm female that takes showers only. The last time I took a bath was in the mid-1970s on one of our fishing trips to Pelican Lake, WI because there was no shower in the cabin, only a tub. And I'm with HarryT about getting in, wash and get out as quick as you can.

I've always had full tubs wherever I've lived, but even if my body ached over every inch of it I wouldn't sit in a tub trying to relieve sore muscles. I'd take a few Tylenol over a bath any day.

Before my sister got a waterproof Kobo, she used 2 ziplock bags (doubling it up reduces the chance of leaks).

I've tested the waterproof bag last week. It's okay, but I wouldn't trust it for falls in water. It just clamps shut. I've also got a waterproof bag for my phone/iPod and that has got the same mechanism but it also has a ziplock strip and that one I trust more. Also the bag was too big, which made it awkward in the bath. I'll be on the look out for a smaller bag and one with closing strips.

I'll use the bag for when I go out for the day and it might rain or get wet (like at a amusement park) and put things in I don't want to get wet.
