AFAIK this Posting Guideline "Images included in posts must be no more than 600x600 pixels." refers to images posted within the body of the text, not attached images which are automatically thumbnailed, whether shown in-line via the paper-clip tool, or at the end of a post.

Maybe said mod needs a spell in a re-education camp

I will look into it.

Edit: Added those since they are quite common especially in recipes and books on cooking.

They will appear beside the other fractions in the table in the next release.

BTW using the symbol for "fraction slash" in the new Insert Special Character table or its entity:

You can create a professional looking version of almost any fraction as follows:

<sup>3</sup>&frasl;<sub>47</sub>
that will give you a very nice looking 3/47 fraction.
