Using shift and tab walk through all windows and I could answer the error dialog. Also moving the quick view into a corner or link at the bottom before anything else, made the error dialog visible. Of course I don't know whether that helps i.e. moving the catalog to the side before press create button. At least I like to mention my experience. |

Been away for a few days. Answer to question in earlier post; I’m using 64 bit version. Re the change in the file to address the issue, I am a user, not a programmer, so forgive me if this is a dumb question. Where do I find that file, and how do I change it?

Installed 3.12 update. Now program does not freeze, and I can move the catalog creation window from side to side, or down, but there is no scroll bar and I cannot resize it so I cannot get to the bottom. Going back to 3.10. Thanks for trying. Please let me know if there is anything else I should try or anything I can send you that might help solve the problem.

Post a screenshot of your window with no scrollbars, that might tell me something.

Sorry, I already did an export, complete uninstall of 3.12, reinstall of 3.10, and import. All is back to normal. I’ll try the next update and post a screenshot if the problem is still there.

Fyi, 3.13 had the same issue. I obviously did not report it. I see we have 3.14 today. I will give it a shot, and report back, either with an "all is good" or a screen shot.

OK, 3.14 installed. Data imported. Same result. I can resize various windows, horizontal and vertical, and move them around. But, for the catalog option window I can only resize the width, within small range, but can't resize the height, or move the window. The E-book options window is the same. I can change the options for format to mobi, and that gives me a scroll bar, but I can't scroll to the bottom to complete and save.
As requested previously, I am attaching screenshots. |

Looks like the window has been stretched so it doesn't need a vertical scroll bar, and then the bottom edge of the window has been pushed (via moving the window) beyond the bottom edge of the monitor.
Try pushing the top edge down (i.e to make the window shorter), the scroll should appear, then move the top edge of the window up towards the top edge of monitor. BR |

I agree. That is what it looks like. but I did not resize it. I cannot resize it or move it vertically, at all. I cannot move it down.
