All devices from the K4 up to the two Oasis models are the same serial pad pin-out, only the file names change with the device, the process is the same.
Prior to fw 5.3.something, Amazon did not ship complete images, see our de-bricking guides for those image files. All other device firmwares since that time have been complete image files. On the two Oasis models - nobody has found the serial port connections. |

This is wrong. Your voltage divisor should be with the ground. RX -> Resistor -> Resistor -> GND. It will work for the Rpi -> Kindle but not in the reverse order as you have to up the tension.
