The Apple Pencil is intriguing. Not sure how much I would use it.
Question (probably a stupid question)--Does anyone know if I could "share" a Pencil with my husband? We both have iPad Pros and I'd be tempted to buy a Pencil if it would be easy to pick up and use with either of our iPads. |

A similar idea would likely work for the keyboard.

Just plug the pencil into the Ipad Pro and it is paired. To switch, plug it into the other Pro.

Yes indeed. The pairing is much quicker and easier than most BT devices. Simply plug the Pencil into the iPad Pro, the iPad Pro will pop up a box asking you if you want to pair it, press Yes, and all is good. No pressing of a pairing button, no fishing through menus, just quick and easy pairing.

Also included is a very small female-to-female lightening connector so you can use any USB charger not just the iPad.

I bought a 3rd party charging base for mine. It is easy to just plug it in every morning for a few minutes and charge it up. It charges really fast. It usually has 40% to 50% charge left in the morning, and it only takes 5 min to 10 min to fully charge. Charging is fast whether you plug it into the iPad or into another USB source.

Thanks for the info! Knowing that the pencil can easily be used by different iPads makes the purchase much more tempting.
