Does anyone think DRM PDF will ever be cracked? How about Adobe Digital Edition? Since it connects to a server is it uncrackable?

Everything that's readable by end user can be decrypted, it's just a matter of time+effort/reward ratio. Right now it's probably not high enough since not much books are available in those DRM variants and the implementation is a bit tougher than e.g. Mobi's.

I've heard that there are a few tools doing the rounds to Strip passwords off PDF files but their paid products, most from somewhat questionable sites.

I've heard from people who have had some success using them, but they only work on PDF's that have password protection / restriction as opposed to proper DRM which requires activation.

Some one will probably figure out how to crack Digital Editions, heck, someone probably has, based on the no of updates adobe seems to put out.
After all, as long as they have to allow a person access to actually use the file, someone is going to figure out a way to get around it.
