+1

I would like it to be a Preference to select a "Touch Friendly" or "Tablet" mode. In the Touch/Tablet mode the changes would be:
  • Wider scroll bars with larger thumbs
  • all menus, main and context, become "double spaced"
  • all lists (library list, tags panel, ...) become double-spaced.

I use calibre on a Win10 8" tablet which is always in Windows' Tablet-mode, but some users with 10-13" "2-in-1" devices likely switch back and forth. It might be nice if the Preference had 3 options; Standard, Touch/Tablet, and Auto, where this last auto selected based on the current OS setting. The Auto option would of necessity only appear when running on Windows 10

If I could I get rid of the menu bar, I never click on Preferences. I normally use Ctrl+P, or access Preferences via the book list context menu.
